Many types of sharks use the protection created by rocks, tree roots, or seaweed to lay and leave their eggs in. Because their size and shape, shark eggs are sometimes called a "mermaids purse". A mermaids purse is often times see through and when put up to the light a baby developing shark can be seen. Below is a tissue paper mermaids purse that can be hung in the window as a sun catcher so you can see the the baby shark in side.

Instructions
Step 1: Trace the baby shark and shark egg outline onto a back piece of paper and cut out
Step 2: Trace the shark egg outline twice onto tissue paper and cut out only the outside. You should have two piece of tissue paper cut to the size of the egg outline with no hole in the middle.
Step 3: Put a thin line of glue on the paper egg outline all the way around and then carefully place the first piece of tissue paper on top, gluing the two together.
Step 4: Place your cut out baby shark right in the center of the glued tissue paper, do not glue. Put another thin line of glue on top to the already glued piece of tissue paper and place the second piece of tissue paper on top of the first, sandwiching the baby shark in-between both.
Step 5: Hang in a window!
